Jaime Knowlton, MMS, PA-C

As the founder of True North Skin, Jaime brings 15 years of Dermatology experience to the Moosehead Lake Region.

Jaime grew up just outside New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated with high honors from Ecole Classique High School and then studied pre-med at Nicholls State University on a full academic scholarship, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 2009, she attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, where she earned a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies.

While in Arizona, she trained with renowned Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons in Phoenix and Scottsdale. She began her career, and love of Dermatology, at Camelback Dermatology, a Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology practice in Phoenix. In 2013, Jaime and her husband, Luke, moved back to her hometown, New Orleans, LA. She joined Bopp Dermatology, a well-established Dermatology and Facial Plastic Surgery practice, where she continued to further her knowledge and love for skin care. In 2017, Jaime and her husband, Luke, moved to his hometown, Greenville, Maine. She joined Northern Light CA Dean Primary Care, bringing her specialized training, skillset and knowledge base. She has been providing General Dermatology care to the Piscataquis region ever since. Over the years, she realized there was a care gap in regard to Medical Aesthetic options in the area and True North Skin was formed.

Jaime is trained and certified to inject neurotoxins and dermal fillers. All of the services and medical grade skin care products that she chose to bring into her practice are tried and true treatments and products that she has personally used and loved over the years. She wishes to help her clients in the Moosehead Lake region and beyond elevate their natural beauty.

When she isn’t helping clients achieve healthy and radiant skin, she loves reading, hiking, traveling and most of all spending time with her husband (Luke), daughters (Ava and Olivia) and the family dog (Jax). They can often be found exploring Moosehead Lake by boat or snowmobile, depending on the time of year.
